ABOUT
About.png
Carrmacade.png

Carrma was founded in 2019 out of a spare room in Michael Carr’s home, built on the belief that finishing work should be fast, seamless, and held to the highest creative standards. At the time, it was a one-person operation—Michael handled everything from editorial to online, color, audio, and delivery. Trailers, TV spots, sizzles—you name it.

Carrma's first big break came with Giaronomo in New York, the first agency to trust Carrma with finishing. Early on, we split our time between creative and finishing work, but in 2021, that shifted when Ammo, one of the biggest agencies in the business, brought Carrma on for all its finishing. It was a turning point that redefined our focus.

Much of our early reel was built on sports. Thursday Night Football and FOX NFL Kickoff helped shape the speed, polish, and precision we’re known for. Over time, our credits expanded into film, music videos, and documentary, but where we truly shine is short-form advertising. From trailers to TV spots to commercials, we’re driven by the art of quick, creative impact.

Today, Carrma focuses exclusively on finishing. We’ve had the honor of working with top studios like Disney, HBO Max, and NASCAR, and networks like FOX Sports. But our true passion is collaborating with the industry’s leading creative agencies—Bond, X/AV, Seismic, Buddha Jones, Eclipse, Concept Arts, and more.

We’ve grown and contracted as the industry has evolved, but our core team and values remain unchanged. We’re here to preserve creative intent, push quality to the highest level, and make our client's lives easier in the process. Carrma isn’t just a post house. We’re the final creative partner that ensures our client's vision comes to life. At Carrma, we don’t just finish content; we supercharge it.

Michael Carr Arcade.png

Michael Carr is a seasoned post-production professional with over two decades of experience in film, television, and entertainment advertising. His eclectic career has spanned both creative and finishing roles, giving him a unique perspective on storytelling from first cut to final delivery.

Before founding Carrma in 2019, Michael worked on everything from sports and sitcoms to feature films, documentaries, and music videos. In 2016, he launched the creative agency Red57 with partner Brian Fink, earning a Golden Trailer Award nomination for Cold Pursuit starring Liam Neeson.

He’s a proud member of the Television Academy, where he served as a Peer Circle Moderator for the Sound Peer Group, and has judged the HPA Awards (Sound category) for the past six years as part of the Hollywood Professional Association.

In 2023, he was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who and named an SCV 40 Under 40 Honoree. That same year, he co-founded CineBear, a boutique camera rental company, with longtime friend and collaborator Stephen Beres.

Outside of work, Michael co-hosts The Green Band, a comedy podcast about movie trailers, and lives in Santa Clarita with his girlfriend Maddy, daughters Mila and Summer, and their dog Max. When he's not in the studio, you’ll likely find him playing drums, reading, or catching a movie (with extra butter on his popcorn).

Jared Arcade.png

Jared Bresnan joined Carrma in 2022, bringing with him over a decade of experience in post-production and a sharp ear for detail. Before joining the team, he cut his teeth at Stampede and later honed his craft at Picturehead, working on high-profile projects like Stranger Things, Spotlight, The Irishman, and Roma.

A graduate of the Los Angeles Recording School (Class of 2009), Jared originally started his career as a music composer and musician—passions that continue to shape his work to this day. Whether he’s mixing sound or building a vibe, his musician’s sensibility brings depth and nuance to every frame. His instruments of choice? Bass guitar and a six-string, always close by.

Some of Jared's notable credits at Carrma include Westworld, House of the Dragon, Super Bowl LVII, and Cruella.

Jared lives in Santa Clarita with his wife Gloria and daughter Naomi, where he's usually juggling family life, mixing sessions, and the occasional jam session.
